Prof. Dr. Bekir Atik, MD received the title of Associate Professor in 2007. In 2011, he worked as a founding faculty member in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Istanbul Medeniyet University. He received the title of professor in 2013. He established Medeniyet University Micro Surgery Training and Research Laboratory in 2013 and is a member of Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association, The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Turkish Reconstructive Micro Surgery Association, The Maxillofacial Surgeons Association, The Wound Care and Tissue Repair Association, and The Turkish Medical Association. He has more than 100 national and international articles and many national and international papers.
